A third-party local evaluator evaluates Kake School's 21st CCLC after-school program yearly. Our evaluator is Cynthia, and she visits twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. She looks over the criteria and goals that the 21st CCLC is supposed to meet, observes a day of programming, and evaluates if the program meets the goals. All the activities from the year are included in the report. She then writes a report with the afterschool director. This report changes yearly and can be found on the KCSD web page, KCSD Resources. Hi parents, we have a new session of After school starting this week. Along with continuing archery and arts and crafts, we will also be doing robotics, building Legos (that move and have purpose), and practicing our reading. If you want your student to stay, let their classroom teacher or myself know and we'll make sure they stay afterschool.
If your student NEEDS ACADEMIC HELP, they can always come to the afterschool program Mon-Thurs. 3-5 and only work on homework/missing assignments. They just need to come to Ms. Grant's room in the elementary.

School picture retake day will be Monday, November 27, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Student retakes from 1:00-3:00 by request and Family retakes from 3:00-6:00 at the elementary school. Please get in touch with your child's teacher if you want a picture retake for them.
