We are excited to announce that our After-School Academic & Enrichment Programs will begin next week, starting Monday, October 26, 2026!
We are hiring staff for two after-school opportunities: our
· Grades 5–12 Catch-Up Program and our
· Little Dribblers Program (Grades K–4).
1. Grades 5–12 After-School Homework Help & Catch-Up
This program provides a supportive space for older students to complete missing work, catch up on assignments, and receive general academic help.
Hours: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2.0 hours per session).
Role: Guide students through missing assignments, access Canvas/course materials, and track attendance.
2. Little Dribblers Program (Grades K–4)
This program pairs targeted academic support with foundational basketball skills and positive student engagement.
Hours: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2.0 hours per session).
Format: Staff working with K–4 students will provide 1 hour of academic tutoring (3:00–4:00 PM) followed by 1 hour of basketball activity/games (4:00–5:00 PM).
Position & Compensation Details:
Who Can Apply: Open to both certified teachers and classified staff.
Note for teachers: Tutoring hours must fall outside your contractual work hours. You may schedule student sessions from 4:00 PM–6:00 PM, or adjust your daily schedule so your contract day ends at 3:00 PM.
Start Date: Next week (Week of October 26, 2026).
Pay Rate / Schedule: Tutors and instructors will be paid after each session worked.
Session 1 (Oct 26 – Nov 20, 2026): Stipend up to $840.00.
Session 2 (Nov 30 – Dec 16, 2026): Stipend up to $630.00.
