Kake City School District is proud to officially announce that Native Youth Games (NYG) is now a school-sponsored activity!
NYG is more than just a sport—it’s a test of strength, endurance, and agility rooted in thousands of years of traditional Alutiiq, Athabascan, Inupiaq, Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian cultures. From the Alaskan High Kick to the Seal Hop, come learn the games that helped our ancestors survive and thrive.
