Help Shape the Future of the Alaska Migrant Education Program

The Kake City School District, in partnership with the Alaska Migrant Education Program (MEP), is conducting its annual survey to identify the most pressing needs of our migratory children and youth. Frequent moves and interrupted schooling can create unique academic challenges; your feedback ensures we provide the right supplemental instruction and support services to help these students succeed.

We need your input: Based on your experience and observations, please indicate which services and instructional supports are most needed in our community.

  • How to Participate: Scan the QR code with your smartphone camera to open the survey directly on your device.

What is the Migrant Education Program? The MEP is a federally funded program designed to support migratory youth in meeting challenging academic standards. Districts typically provide these services through supplemental instruction or specialized support services.
