As we prepare for a new school year, let us personally welcome all of our families with students from Preschool - 12th grade. The school year will officially start on August 20th, but between now and then there is a lot planned in the meantime. We are excited to share a few important updates and useful information to get us started!
First, we are pleased to introduce Anthony Ross as our new Assistant Principal. Anthony will continue serving as our Athletic Director and Boys and Girls Basketball Coach. His office has now been relocated to the high school building. Welcome Anthony!!
New Science Teacher & Cross Country Coach!
We’re excited to welcome Mr. Eric Hadley to our school community! Mr. Hadley is joining us as our new high school science teacher and will also serve as the head coach for the cross country team. He brings a passion for both academics and athletics, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.
Cross-country season is officially underway and is open to all students in grades 6–12.
The last day to join the team is August 15th!
Let’s give a warm welcome to Mr. Hadley and cheer on our cross-country team as the season begins!
Here are some key dates to remember:
Kindergarten Begins Monday, August 25th –
Kindergarten begins, with early release at 1:00 PM every day until September 29th.
Preschool Begins Tuesday, August 26th – Preschool begins at 12:00 PM.
High School Student and Class Sign Up Monday, August 18th –
Students in grades 7-12 will come between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM to sign up for classes and lockers.
Back to School Information Sessions
Monday, August 18th from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Tuesday, August 19th from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
We are going to be hosting two back-to-school information sessions to help families prepare for the upcoming school year. The first will be on August 18th from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM; and the second is on August 19th from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM. Also, other information will be coming out regards classroom open houses, which will be another opportunity to meet your teachers and see the classroom where your child will be learning.
Wednesday, August 20th – First day of school for students in grades 1-12.
Every Friday – Early release at 2:00 PM for staff development and training.
All students will now be on a new schedule where every Friday will be early dismissal in support of staff development. For our 7th graders, we want to stress that they would be in the high school building this year. Additionally, the first bell for the high school will be 8:15 AM.
