🧒 Thank You, Kindergarten Families!

A huge thanks to all the families who came out for Cruising to Kindergarten! It was wonderful to welcome our incoming K students and share what next year will look like. Families went home with information, a take-and-bake dinner, and some classic advice from this year’s kindergarteners—like not "Don't throw your coat at the ceiling" and "Don't lick people".

Shoutout to Tauni, Rhonda, and Angel for making the event such a success!

💃 Prom Recap

Congratulations to the Junior Class for hosting a stunning prom night—it was all glitz, glamour, and great energy. Thank you to Robin for your steady and generous support of the class this year. To the junior class who worked hard to decorate and clean up, you made our Prom amazing and you all looked stunning!

📅 Looking Ahead: 2025–2026 School Year

We’re already planning for next year, and we have a few updates to share:

  • The 2025–2026 School Calendar has been approved by the School Board.

  • Kindergarten will start on August 25 and PreK on August 26, a few days after the rest of the district.

  • Fridays for the 2025-2026 school year will be early release days across the district to allow staff time for professional learning and student support.

  • Students in grades 7–12 will start earlier next year—at 8:15 AM.

  • There’s a new 7–12 bell schedule, which includes longer class periods, a dedicated Advisory hour, and a Life Skills section to give students more meaningful support.

We’re proud of the learning, growth, and care that’s taken place across our schools this year. As always, thank you for your partnership, and we hope to see you at many of the celebrations this month.

Let’s finish strong!
